1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using PLACISE, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
PLACISE provides AI-powered location intelligence reports for Hong Kong. Our reports combine demographic data, competition analysis, foot traffic estimation, and strategic recommendations to help businesses evaluate potential business locations. Reports are generated based on available data and AI analysis.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Use.
4. Report Credits and Payments
Free Basic reports are provided at no charge, subject to monthly usage limits. Paid reports and bundles are processed through Stripe. All payments are in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD). Bundle credits do not expire.
5. Intellectual Property
The content, features, and functionality of PLACISE are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may use reports you generate for your own business purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or sell our platform or its underlying technology.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our reports are provided for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranties regarding the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any report. Location decisions should not be based solely on our reports. We strongly recommend consulting with real estate professionals and conducting your own due diligence.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PLACISE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific report giving rise to the claim.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify users of significant changes. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.
10. Disclaimer of Liability
PLACISE, its parent company, directors, officers, and employees shall not be held liable for any negative outcomes, losses, damages, or adverse consequences — whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential — arising from or related to the use of, reliance upon, or decisions made based on any information, analysis, or recommendations contained in a PLACISE report. All reports are provided strictly for informational and reference purposes. Users are solely responsible for independently verifying all information and for any business, financial, or operational decisions made as a result of using PLACISE's services.
11. No Refund Policy
All purchases made on PLACISE are final and non-refundable. PLACISE reports are digital information products that are generated and delivered instantly upon purchase. Once a report has been successfully generated, the information it contains has been consumed and cannot be "returned" in the way a physical product can. The cost of generating each report reflects real underlying expenses — including data processing, AI analysis, and infrastructure — that are incurred at the point of generation regardless of whether the report meets your expectations. For these reasons, we are unable to offer refunds under any circumstances. If you are dissatisfied with your report, have experienced a technical issue, or have a complaint, we strongly encourage you to visit our Contact Us page. We take all feedback seriously and will do our best to address your concerns.
