Under applicable privacy laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to request that we do not sell your personal information and to request the permanent erasure of all your data.
1. How to Submit a Request
To request the permanent erasure of all your personal data, please send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Erasure Request". Please include the email address associated with your PLACISE account so we can locate and process your request accurately.
2. What Happens Next
Once we receive your request, we will acknowledge it promptly. Your request will be processed in the shortest time possible and within the timeframes set forth under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — typically within 30 days of receipt. If we require additional information to verify your identity, we will contact you.
3. What Data We Erase
Upon confirmation of your erasure request, we will permanently delete all personal data associated with your account, including your account information and profile, usage history and activity logs, all generated reports and associated data, billing records where legally permitted, and any other personal identifiers linked to your account. Please note that once erased, this data cannot be recovered.
4. Your Rights Under GDPR
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights: the Right to Erasure (Article 17) — the right to have your personal data deleted; the Right to Data Portability — the right to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format; the Right to Restrict Processing — the right to request that we limit how we use your data; and the Right to Object — the right to object to the processing of your personal data.
